| Douglas County is accepting applications for a GIS Technician in the GIS Division of the IT Department. Duties include: general mapping support; respond to requests for information, maps, records and other related material from other county staff, outside agencies and the general public; operate a variety of mapping equipment and software; and work on special projects as assigned. Equivalent to high school diploma with at least (2) years of formal education or technical training in GIS, cartography, engineering, drafting, or related fields, with a thorough knowledge of computer operations and software.
