The TSAC (Traffic Safety Advisory Committee) is a citizen-based committee to advise the Board of County Commissioners on road safety issues. It is comprised of eleven members, six appointed by the BOCC, two from the Public Works department, one each from the Sheriff's Office and Lawrence/Douglas County Fire & Medical, and one outside member appointed by Public Works.

The TSAC typically meets on a monthly basis. Keith Browning, Public Works Director, and Pam Maley are co-chairs of the TSAC. Other members of the TSAC are Mark Bradford, Larry Hatfield, Richard Heckler, Ken McGovern, Andrew Morrow, Tom Mulinazzi, Roger Pine, Don Shepard and Eric Struckhoff.
