County Roads

Public Works - Operations Division Home
Three crews from the Douglas County Public Works-Operations Dept. perform road and bridge maintenance functions including pavement maintenance, bridge maintenance and construction, grading, and snow & ice control. Fleet maintenance activities for all county vehicles is also performed out of this division. The Operations division is responsible for noxious weed control and chemical sales, mowing and other roadside maintenance activities. In addition, park maintenance functions are also under the purview of the Operations Division.
